This FAQ is a work in progress. We have done our best to ensure it is accurate, but please be aware it is subject to change. If you're really not sure about something, and was confirmation, we recommend you contact us and we will do our utmost to respond quickly.
We are having a small wedding. Is there a minimum order?
It doesn’t matter how big or small the occasion, we supply to suit you. You can order a small supply of a single item or a complete range of matching stationery – the choice is yours.
I have sent you an e-mail – why haven’t you replied?
We always answer our emails. The only reason would be that we have not received it!
Mail servers in general are not 100% reliable. To be certain we have received your mail, set your email software to request a read receipt.
I am not clear on how to order.
Please just email or call us and we will be happy to talk you through the selection and ordering process.
I don’t really like the internet – can I do it all by post or come to see you?
Yes, of course you can. We love to see our customers and if you are not too far away we can visit you or you may choose to visit us. Alternatively, you can call us and we will either send you a catalogue with our designs and once you have chosen you can complete the order form which will be enclosed. Or, if you know what design you like we can take it from there. Ordering is easy and the form is self explanatory.
I’m worried about security, are my details secure?
The components of the site that gather your details and process your order are not yet online. When they do come online, you can rest assurred Absolutely Pink will be very secure - more than many sites you visit!
We will have our own Secure certificate which you will be able to verify this by clicking the Site Seal on our privacy policy page.
Your contact details are stored in a secure database.
We do not store your credit card details or even have access to them, all on-line payments are processed by HSBC who are among the most advanced e-commerce payment and security service providers in the industry.
I am confused by all the different prices – you have three prices for invitations alone – how do I understand them?
We have tried to be clear by listing all the prices in the same sections as the cards themselves rather than loads of codes which are totally baffling as, by the time you have worked out which code relates to your choice you have forgotten what you wanted in the first place. Each of the designs has a separate price list and where you see more than one price for the same design of card it will be because of the size and shape of the card itself – the price shouldn’t vary too much as a lot of the cost is in the actual design and work.
Do I have to pay for all my stationery when I order?
These deposit terms may be subject to change.
We ask 50% of the total payment on ordering, to cover the cost of materials, and the further 50% will be required before we send out your stationery. We can send you an invoice or contact you by telephone or email to tell you when your order is complete.
You have exactly the design we want, but it doesn’t go with our colour scheme, can you can this be changed to co-ordinate with our day?
Yes, of course, all our designs can be altered to meet your own choice of colour. We will be happy to send you a sample of your chosen design and colour.
Can I change the wording on the front of the invitation?
Yes. The wordings shown on the designs page are purely a guide line. You can have any words printed on the front of your invitation at no extra cost and in any colour you wish. Alternatively, the card fronts can be left blank if you prefer.
How long will my order take to make?
Depending on your choice and order size it should take approximately 4-6 weeks. This time may vary depending on current orders in progress. Please be mindful that your invitations are sent to guests approximately three months before the day so do give yourself plenty of time to order your stationery.
How much is postage and packaging?
P&P ranges between £6.00 - £20.00 per order depending on weight – and this will be for the total order no matter how many deliveries you have. Please enquire before ordering as to what your postage charges will be. All our products are delivered by Parcelforce (may be subject to change) and will require a signature.
Help – I have run out of invitations and need more, what do I do?
Just let us know as it is absolutely no problem for us to provide extra invitations for you, but please notify us as soon as you realise – we like more than a day or so notice but we will do our best to work miracles.
I have received my order but I realise I have ordered too much, can I have a refund if the goods are returned?
As outlined in our ordering section, if you need to return goods we will try our best to recycle the materials and make refunds or exchanges as appropriate although, of course, if we have not met the specifications of the order correctly a no quibble refund is guaranteed.
I'm not comfortable using my credit card over the Internet. Can I order by telephone or post?
Yes of course you can – just call 01279 654860 or 07970 850209 to give your details over the phone or download and complete our order form which you can fax or post.
Who do I make a cheque payable to?
Payment by cheque should be drawn on a UK bank account. Cheques should be made payable to Absolutely Pink please.
We also accept payment by credit/debit card or by direct bank transfer. Full details will be supplied on request.
Can I get a discount for bulk quantities?
Because all our products and handmade and a lot of the cost is in the time involved in making each item, it is difficult to quantify discounts. However, if you order more than 50 of single items a 2.5% discount is applied and for orders of 100 or more a 5% discount applies.
Can you send me some Samples?
Obviously, if you decide to order from us we will send you samples of your choice. We do not as a policy send out free samples of our designs although we will be happy to supply samples of any designs at cost which will be deducted from the value of any order you place with us. Additionally, if you send a stamped addressed envelope with details of which card(s) you are interested in we can send you small samples of the materials.
How much notice do you need for the table plan and place card names as I won’t know these until nearer the time?
We realise that final name lists cannot be provided until last minute and we make allowances for this. Please state on the order form that you will be requiring a table plan and/or place cards with your order. Once people start accepting the invitation you can then let us know names for place cards as and when you know them and then, send us a complete and correct name list no later than 3 weeks prior to the wedding to enable us to complete the table plan.
I don’t need printed inserts in my invitations and order of service, can I order the invitation cards without inserts?
Yes you can – please contact us for further details.
How is my personal information being protected?
